Year 5 had an inspirational Literature morning at Applemore College today! They met the author Yarrow Townsend who spoke to them and Year 8 Applemore students about her love of learning, nature and writing. The children also had an opportunity to ask questions and were given a copy of one of her books. Year 5 also participated in a nature- inspired writing session outside with a focus on the environment and birds. An enjoyable, engaging day. Thank you Applemore College
