Each week we have experimented with different materials and their properties, testing which would be best for different purposes.

The first week we tried to find the best material for a baby blanket.

Last week we tried to find which material was most absorbant and therefore best for cleaning up a spillage!

We found out that a cloth was the most absorbant as it absorbed 70 ml of water! We found out tin foil and plastic weren't much use as "the water just fell off"; we learnt this meant the materials were repellent.
