Straight after school the Reading Ambassadors set up camp in the Library and were visited by Emma from the Schools Library service, who shared new books, let the children look and share recommendations. These recommendations were shared later at the Winter Warmer event, and we will revisit them in the new year at book club.

It was then time to judge our Great Waterside Book off entries from families with the help of Emma.

At 5pm many other children and their families joined us in the hall to share books, read, hot chocolate and all things cosy at our first Winter Warmer event.
