Attendance
At Waterside Primary School, if a child is to reach their full educational achievement, then a high level of school attendance is essential. At Waterside we try to work hard, in partnership with parents, to ensure that good attendance to school remains the priority of all involved in a child’s education. We want all our children to achieve well in school therefore if the individual attendance slips below 95% you will be asked to come into school for a meeting to discuss ways to improve and how the school can help you as a parent.
Further support and guidance for parents on attendance can be found here: Hampshire Attendance Guidance
Please find below our attendance policy, which contains detailed information on absence, including the penalty notice system.
